There’s a new Genshin Impact animated short, and “Endless Suffering” explores the things Xiao is going through as a Yaksha. However, he isn’t the only notable person appearing. Others show up to talk with and help him as he’s going through something serious. Namely, we get to Genshin Impact characters like Baizhu, Qiqi, and Venti interact with him too.
Things begin with Xiao fulfilling his Yaksha duties by defeating some monsters. He mentions that karma could turn him into a monster eventually, and he’s fighting against himself and inner impulses. While it initially seems like a dream, a darker side keeps threatening him. He then wakes up at Baizhu’s office ahead of the Genshin Impact Lantern Rite, after Qiqi brought him there, with him encountering Venti at the end of the video.

People will soon get a chance to add Xiao to their roster in Genshin Impact. Whenever the Lantern Rite event returns to the game, his banner comes up. Both he and Alhaitham will appear immediately after the 3.4 update appears. Yaoyao will be one of the focus four-stars on both banners.
Genshin Impact is available on the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. The version 3.4 update with Xiao rerun banner will appear on January 18, 2023.
