Raw Fury and production company Dj2 Entertainment have officially partnered up to adapt the video games Sable, Night Call, and Mosaic for film and television.

As reported by GamesIndustry.biz, this “first look partnership” will also include the option to adapt Out of the Blue’s Call of the Sea, Long Hat House’s Dandara, laymestudio’s The Signifier, and Geography of Robot’s Norco.

Dj2 Entertainment has previously worked on 2020’s Sonic the Hedgehog film, and is currently working on a few other TV adaptations, including Life is Strange, Disco Elysium, My Friend Pedro, and Tomb Raider.

“There’s so much to love about working with the Raw Fury team, including the team’s incredible taste for some of the most unique, beautiful, and innovative games today,” Dj2’s founder and CEO Dmitri M. Johnson said. “Having access to Raw Fury’s incredible slate allows Dj2 to begin developing adaptations even before a game is released, getting a jump on the market as well as allowing for more synergy between the different media.”

Sable is a coming-of-age story that is told as players explore an open-world desert on an alien planet. In one of our previews, we said that it is an “unlikely companion to Breath of the Wild.”

In our review of Shedworks’ Sable, we said that its “unique art style, memorable characters and quests, and engaging open-ended formula are going to stick with me for a long time. But the numerous technical issues, wonky camera, and bland puzzles all make this otherwise compelling odyssey a lot rockier.”

BlackMuffin’s Night Call is an investigative Noire game that tasks players with not only solving a murder mystery, but also with making enough money to pay their bills.

Krillbite Studio’s Mosaic focuses on a person who is “living a bleak and repetitive life in a cold systematic city.” Every day of this person’s life is the same and feels as though it has no meaning, but that all changes when strange things start to occur.
