Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Director Yoshitake Suzuki revealed two more characters who will appear in the game. However, they might look familiar. That is because both of them briefly appeared in The Three Lords trailer. Now, there’s a closer look at Sir Jae and Dame Luchika.

The official art also involved the characters’ voice actors. Jae is a close-range melee unit. Luchika is a ranged one. Jae is voiced by Griffin Burns, who also played Childe in Genshin Impact, Muichiro Tokito in Demon Slayer, and Fret in NEO The World Ends with You. Karen Strassman voices Luchika. She also played Nanako in Persona 4, Anna in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Annette Birkin in Resident Evil. You can see both of them briefly at the 52 second mark of the Three Lords video.
Two More Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Characters Revealed

Capcom revealed quite a few other Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak characters too. For example, at the March 2022 digital event various player hub NPCs showed up. Among them is the new receptionist Chichae, blacksmith Minayle, and merchant Oboro. The DLC hunters Paz and Selva will also play a part in the story. Official art showed them alongside Fiorayne, one of the knights of the royal order.

Monster Hunter Rise is available for the Nintendo Switch and PC. Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak will release on June 30, 2022.
