Updated #3 [Sun 21st Aug, 2022 03:30 BST]: This is another reminder that the Dragon Ball event in Fortnite is currently underway. This includes ‘Dragon Ball Adventure Island’, which is now also live. In this area, players can explore Dragon Ball locations such as Kami’s Palace, Goku’s House and the Room of Spirit & Time. There’s also an open PvP arena.

Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and Beerus have arrived – they come with new gameplay items, quests, Dragon Ball islands and much more.
This includes a Dragon Ball Super episode festival (August 16 – September 17) where players can watch DBS with their friends, the new ‘Dragon Ball Adventure Island’ (starting August 19) and even a special Dragon Ball item shop.

Original article [Fri 12th Aug, 2022 03:30 BST]: Following on from all sorts of collaborations, it seems the Dragon Ball universe is now making its way to Epic’s popular battle royale game Fortnite.
The social account shared a picture of what appears to be Shenron – teasing a start date of 16th August 2022. There’s not much else to say at this point, although some supposed leaks suggest Goku and friends will be making a cameo as skins.

In somewhat related news, the new Dragon Ball movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero premiere took place this week, with its theatre debut opening next week on August 19th. The voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, is also involved – voicing the character Magenta. He wore a matching outfit on the red carpet:
