Those of you who’ve given Farming Simulator 22 the time of day will know that it’s a relaxing, albeit occasionally fiddly, simulation game. And like the crops that you’ll be nurturing, Giants Software has confirmed that the sequel will grow with its all-new Platinum Expansion. Some of you will already get access to this as part of your Season Pass, but if you’re yet to dig in, then a repackaged Platinum Edition will release on 15th November with the add-on pack bundled in.
So, what can you look forward to getting down and dirty with? Well, we’re talking 40 new vehicles and tools from manufacturers like Volvo, IMPEX, John Deere, and more. Specifically, that includes the Volvo L200H High Lift wheel loader which was only just announced officially, meaning you’ll be among the first people in the world to operate it – virtually, of course.
Perhaps of most interest to fans will be the new map named Silverrun Forest, which has been inspired by the Pacific Northwest. This comes with some interesting new gameplay wrinkles, including the ability to take on forestry missions and even build a boat in a nearby shipyard. It’ll also include key new production pipelines to keep things fresh.
