The last few weeks have been a particularly busy period for big games, to the point where we almost feel a bit sorry for games like Ghostwire: Tokyo. A solid action adventure title by most accounts, Ghostwire will no doubt find a dedicated audience, but following up juggernaut releases like Horizon Forbidden West, and of course, the almighty Elden Ring, is never going to be easy without being a juggernaut yourself.
We gave what is supposedly Bethesda’s final PlayStation game a 6/10 in our Ghostwire: Tokyo PS5 review. While not a bad experience, our conclusion cautions: “Excellent PS5 DualSense controller support, haunting elements, and nice visuals aside, Ghostwire: Tokyo will have to go down as a miss.”
