Sony has confirmed the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games that will be released in October 2022. Without any hints as to what could be added this month, most of the games, like GTA Vice City, are a complete surprise. There are more than a handful of PS Plus Classics joining the service, including the remaining Yakuza games that had been promised earlier in the year.

The new PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2022 games

There will be 16 new games added to PS Plus Extra with seven additional PlayStation Plus Classic games added to PS Plus Premium, making this the biggest month for new additions since the launch of the new tiers. The games will follow the usual pattern and join the service on October 18, 2022. The vast majority of the games are complete surprises although we’d already predicted the inclusion of more Assassin’s Creed games as part of the Ubisoft+ Classics collection.

The PS Plus Premium classics are made up entirely of PS3 games and PS4 remasters, including the remaining Yakuza games. Those hoping for more PS2 or PlayStation classics will be disappointed, with Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Logan’s ShadowLegend of Dragoon, Dino Crisis, SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, Ridge Racer 2, and Resistance 2 all still remaining absent. Regardless, here is the full list of games coming to PS Plus Extra and Premium this month:
