Hold on, our Newtype senses are tingling…is this a brand new Gundam game actually releasing in the West for PlayStation platforms? Why yes, it is! Although, it may not be the kind of Gundam game that you were expecting.
SD Gundam Battle Alliance features the chibi mobile suits from the SD side of the franchise — but it looks pretty darn promising in the announcement trailer above. It seems to be your typical crossover thing where various Gundam worlds collide, and it looks like co-op play is an option for up to three pilots.
It’s blasting to both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, but we only have a vague ‘2022’ to go on as with regards to release dates.
