wow warcraft alliance horde cataclysm leveling guide

Cute, colourful and utterly brain teasing, the Color Pals are here to brighten up your life.

Available to purchase and download right now, thanks to the combination of Eastasiasoft and the development team at Double Mizzle, Color Pals releases on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

Priced up at £4.19 with a little launch discount cutting that for the initial few weeks from release, Color Pals is a fun little platformer in which a variety of hues dictate your success or failure.

Color Pals has you controlling a little coloured cube, intent on navigating their way through a variety of stages, looking to reach a portal of safety. That in itself is nothing new and we could pick out a ton of games that utilise that idea. But where Color Pals differs is in the platforms and blocks themselves.

See, the levels of Color Pals are made up with various colours, and your little cube can only traverse those that match their colour. What this means is you’ll be scooting along, jumping high, dropping down and navigating the different colours as best you can, hitting switches to change up your cube’s primary colour.

It all feels rather neat and cute, but with fifty levels awaiting, each of which will be filled with traps, you can be sure that Color Pals will be nothing but a test of your platforming skills. Thankfully the opportunity to drop into previously completed levels in order to hone those skills is possible.

The key features of Color Pals include:

  • Navigate 50 stages of hue-based platforming puzzles!
  • Enjoy cute and colorful presentation that’s easy on the eyes.
  • Match the color of floors, walls and ceilings to reach the portal!
  • Collect up to 3 stars per stage.
  • Freely replay levels as many times as it takes!

Keep an eye out for our full review of Color Pals on Xbox Series X|S soon, but in the meantime hit up your favoured digital store to take in a download for yourself. It’s on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S (optimised), as well as on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Game Description:

Switch up your hue to navigate tricky maze-like platforming stages! Welcome to the cute and satisfying world of Color Pals, where brainteasing puzzles meet simple single-screen platforming fun! Enjoy 50 stages of hue-based trickery as you take the role of a colored cube and navigate 2D maze-like levels to reach a portal on the far side. But be careful! You can only touch walls, floors, ceilings and platforms that match your current color. Replay stages as many times as it takes, and freely replay cleared levels any time to improve your skills!
