Aery - A New Frontier XboxAery - A New Frontier Xbox

Whilst AAA games continue to get delayed left, right and centre this is *checks notes* the third Aery game to release in 2022 already. Aery – A New Frontier is out today on Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch.

If you haven’t played an Aery game before, the concept is very simple. You control a bird in flight collecting feathers whilst travelling through these ethereal and dreamlike biomes. This time around, A New Frontier gives players a glimpse into the future of human evolution. There are space stations on strange planets and unusual structures to glide around and drink in.

Collecting the feathers will advance the story. Expect to hear about sci-fi events and milestones that the future of humanity has achieved. Aery – A New Frontier has eight stages to explore this time around.

If this gameplay sounds familiar, it is. Aery follows the same trends laid out by other EpiXR Games releases such as Murder Diaries and Life of Fly. Aery – A New Frontier is much less concerned with violent storytelling and disturbing imagery. This is a game that can be enjoyed by all ages thanks to its child-friendly storytelling.

Aery – A New Frontier is out now on the Xbox Store priced at £8.39. Our review is coming soon but if you have played an Aery game before then you will know what to expect.

Game description

Aery – A new Frontier is a story-driven 3D flight exploration game in which you control a bird-like creature in space and on distant planets. You can observe how humanity slowly evolves, inhabits new planets and discovers the secrets of the galaxy. While you progress through the story you will be able to see the different stages in which humanity has been at every state of their evolution. The story itself talks about different events and milestones that have been reached as well as different happenings in between. You can quite literally fly through space and time and different stages of human development. Follow an interesting story through a wonderful, peaceful Sci-Fi world and enjoy the speed of flying at the same time. This story-driven game is non-violent so that you can enjoy the intuitive and relaxing gameplay in 8 giant different stages that are waiting to be explored.
